Tiny Pots & Microwave Raku — 2‑Part Series

Join this two-part Tiny Pots & Microwave Raku series at The Art House in St. Augustine and create your own miniature ceramic masterpieces from start to finish. In Session 1, students will learn to throw tiny wheel-thrown pots, no larger than 3 inches tall and 3.5 inches wide, while exploring techniques for centering clay, pulling thin walls, and attaching small handles with personality and style. Finished pieces will dry and be bisque fired before the second class. In Session 2, students will glaze their bisque-fired mini pots and leave with finished raku creations. Registration includes both sessions, all clay and glaze materials, and personalized instruction in a small class limited to six students.
