The Avett Brothers perform at The AMP
Four-time GRAMMY-nominated band The Avett Brothers achieved mainstream success with their 2009 major-label debut I and Love and You, subsequently scoring multiple top-five Billboard 200 albums, including The Carpenter, Magpie and the Dandelion, and the chart-topping True Sadness—the making of which was captured in the acclaimed 2017 documentary May It Last. They continued their success with 2019’s Closer Than Together, the pandemic-era The Third Gleam, and a self-titled 2024 album, alongside the Broadway debut of the acclaimed musical Swept Away, which features their music. Honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Americana Music Association and an induction into the North Carolina Music Hall of Fame, the band is currently touring the United States.
